Catholic Recovery for the Divorced and Separated
The Catholic Parishes of Lake and Geauga Counties have joined together to make the presence of the Church a part of the journey toward recovery for the divorced and separated and to provide hope, help, and healing.
Together with professionals experienced in the area of divorce and our trained facilitators, we have developed this ministry to help meet the needs of those who are experiencing this life-changing event.
It is our mission to:
Promote emotional and sacramental healing
Encourage support, independence, empowerment
Faith, hope, healing...
It’s hard to know how to help yourself or someone who is going through a divorce. It takes time and a lot of work to heal the pain that comes with the breakup of a marriage.

You don’t need to go through your separation or divorce alone. Together with trained facilitators, in a caring and confidential environment, the Catholic churches of Lake County and Geauga County offer a series of support groups and workshops designed specifically to help those who are experiencing this life-changing, often traumatic event.
You will be able to share support and encouragement with others who understand what you are going through. And you’ll learn helpful, practical information that will enable you to move forward and begin rebuilding your life.
